Jake Brown Homovich(b. 1990) is a documentary photographer based between the United States and China. He is currently attending the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at the Maine College of Art and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Albay, New York. His current work focuses on documenting the history and present condition of the Blue Stone industry in rural upstate New York. His past work involves documenting the minority populations of China, particularly the Qiang, Hui and Tibetan people, and how the rapid growth of tourism within China has affected their culture, geography, religion and ways of life.
